hotels at the airport are nice but pricey cause they r at the airport. I can't think of any "nice" hotels in Elizabeth. Theres a brandie new Hampton INN in Linden that is only 1 mile from the Linden train station. Dont know if they have an airport shuttle but cab should only be $30 from the airport.

Yep its one by the airport. (very skanky "Cafe" just down the street called LOOKERS -walking distance- ...so it might be right up your ally. lol) If I remember correctly that might be the one with the 3" bullet proof glass surrounding the front desk. Usually not a good sign. I would check out pictures on their website or call them before booking. They should have a shuttle to the airport, there are busses from the airport to NYC or Newark Penn station is a 10 min taxi ride from there. Or you can take the monorail from the airport terminals to the Airport train station (NJ-Transit).

Other close Clean Motels are the "Swan Motel" and the "Benedict" in Linden. Although they do have figure 8 tubs and jacuzi's they also have regular hotel rooms. Also, The Hampton Inn is only 3 miles south of the airport and in a large shopping center with couple restaurants, Target, Home depot, Annie Sez, Anenue, lol.

Those are part of the industrial areas that make NJ infamous.

These places are in the Raritan Center which is a nice Convention Center. There is no public transportation to NYC in the Convention Center, but it is very close to Ratzo in S.I. and it is in between Ratzo's place and Trax70.

We're smack middle between both parties... It's about a 40min train ride and bout an hour drive from the track.
