Off brand Futaba compatible receivers

Anyone have experience with these? Are they just as good as actual Futaba receivers without the high price tag?

Well, if they're any good, you should buy them from Aliexpress. They'll prolly cost half as much.

I liked to think Futaba uses better components in their radios. My old faithful 3PM (circa 2005-ish) is just outstanding... except for the cost of FASST receivers. If it were not for compatible receivers, I'd have got rid of the radio years ago. Having said that, $50 for a genuine Futaba FHSS receiver is very, very good, but people been using Futaba compatible Corona receivers for a long time now. Well, at least since Futaba FASST protocol was out. I don't remember anyone ever complaining about them. I'd bet a normal person would not be able to tell the difference in a blindfold test.

I got a DasMikro T-FHSS off Aliexpress and it's been great. At least as good as the stock S-FHSS that I got with my 3PV, theoretically it should be faster but I don't think I'm good enough to notice.
