NTC3 kit building tips?

just got my ntc3 kit - anyone have any helpful hints on building? Things I should look out for, or problems?

Use lock tight on all metal to metal screws. It not only will make your ride more solid by not allowing the screws to fall out, it taiste good too.

On screws that are tapped into plastic, put a little ca on the screw. It acts like Lock tight.

Here is another one.

To prevent your chassis from getting scratches and gashes, and keep it looking brand new, go to your local automobile part and accessorie store like Napa or Track Auto and look for this or something like it. It is a clear sticker shield that can be cut with an box cutter. Before you build everything on the chassis, trace a bunch of outline of the chassis and all the holes. Cut it out and stick it to the bottom of your car when you run. After a bunch of runs, it will get really nasty. Pull it off admire how nice your chassis still looks, then stick a new one on. Its like those NASCAR windshield shields, but you could buy one that goes on the front of you car to prevent bugs from messing up your paint.

thanks - I am probably the most picky person when it comes to keeping my RC stuff spotless, so i really like that idea.

Don't forget to assmble groups of similar Items (such as tie rods, axle carriers etc.) at the time you do one.. if they are similar do them all at once to get them out of the way...:thumbsup:
