novak rooster motor limit

Hi I just recently bought a stampede. I just bought a novak rooster esc and I would like to no if a orion rush 11turn double would work :shrug: with that esc. Please respond asap thanks Eric

Nope I don't think that will do well with your ESC. I went down to a 14double turn and the ESC was pretty hot. Better return that ESC or exchange the motor ASAP.

You can try the Novak Dually it is unlimited & cost aroung $110

You might want to go with the Super Rooster or look to a LRP. They have a few models that have no motor limit and the forward current is HUGE!. Some may not come with reverse like the rooster but if you race it won't matter.

I belive the ESC that you have has 15 turn limit

710baby is correct the rooster is a 15t limit..i myself have a novac FUSION dual-profile ecs good down to a 12t. paid 56$ for it (new in box) on e-bay (on line hobby shop) this model esc goes for 75$ or so @ your LHS.

from what i was told you can go 1t under esc limit with no problem.
