Novak HV-Maxx issue

The front and rear ends of the e-maxx were donated from my old t-maxx since it had all upgraded parts.

I am pretty sure I didn't take the diffs apart between the last time it was run and when I tore it down for parts on the e-maxx build.

Anything is possible.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will go through all of them and get to the bottom of the issue one way or another.

Ding Ding Ding we have a winner.

I just looked at the exploded diagrams of the front assemblies on the Traxxas site for both the T-Maxx and E-Maxx.

On the T-Maxx the diff ring gear is on the right side and on the E-Maxx it's on the left side. Since I used my T-Maxx front and rear ends, I have the diffs flipped for the E-Maxx application.

The prize goes to HeartBreak for the suggestion. I owe you one bud.

Yep.

This thread shows what this forum is all about.

A problem is posted and a bunch of guys kick around ideas and suggestions until the problem is solved.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.

I will be tearing it down tonight so it can be ready for Saturday.

No prob. That ESC ought to program correctly now.

I wouldn't know about being assimilated... but I'm known for being the first three letters.....

Damn-it!
I kept trying to throw you off course so I has a chance of winning this weekend. I think Ill stay at home now.

Don't worry. The chances of me actually finishing the race are 0%. Now way I will be able to stay within the confines of a track with that thing.

Got the diffs flipped and she's ready to rip.

Luckily I have RC Solutions spring steel skids/bumper.

E-Maxx - 1
Leg of Weber BBQ - 0.

By the way boys and girls. Always run with your body on. Charcoal ashes covering all your electrics and such is not good. Trust me.

Is it the new one with the rounded tip or the old leg shaver unit with the sharp edge across the front?

It's the new version.

I actually would rather have the leg shavers because I think they look better.
