Not a good Christmas

Thanks, guys. Looking through boxes searching for show pictures to get a good picture of the really expensive saddle. Only problem is all the pics I have come across thus far have someone's ass planted in the seat so you really can't see a lot...

I didn't have any luck with my hunt last night--which is probably a good thing for me and sure as hell is a good thing for them. I just hope they don't decide to try for the horses...

Gonna go hunting again tonight so maybe I will get lucky...

String'em up with piano wire until their feet quit kickin, right from a joist in the barn.

Don't feel like the odd man out on the holiday "crap list"...One of my longest known and best friends's Aunt & Uncle's trailer house burned to the ground 2 nights before Christmas. All that they owned went up, including their dog and their cat, and all the kids presents. 7 minutes is all it took to go from standing inferno to smoldering rubble.

A week before that, I was the unlucky one to roll my jeep. 15 mph (not even joking) on gravel that turned from wet to an ice rink in a split second. Went down hill backwards and stood up on one tire, then came down on its top. I was trapped, due to the 6 inches of mud holding the doors and the seat belt wouldn't unlatch. Didn't see that one coming. The ice..was soo baaad..the fire/rescue team lost their truck down the hill as well.

God bless you all..really...don't take anything in life for granted, because all it takes is 1/1000th of a second and life could be over.

Sorry to hear about the trailer and pets. At least no one lost their lives!

Damn, Jeeps are cool but roll too easily for my taste...

What series and years were the saddles won? I'm pretty active in the team roping circuit and I can keep an eye out for others trying to sell saddles. Please let me know, I would love to help.

Hey guys. Just wanted to give ya'll a little heads up in case I am not here the next couple days. Our farm was jacked this morning. Tack room and horse trailer were broken into as well as the pump house and my shop.

The good news is none of the horses are missing and the Ford F-250 hauler and the trailer are still there. The bad news is we lost eight saddles including three show saddles--one of which was a $8000.00 trophy saddle that my mom had won. There were also some training rigs stolen and even my mom's and sister's English saddles. Of course all the show halters, head-sets, bridles, and bits are gone too. My farm tool box is gone along with all our shovels, post hole diggers, hammers, saws, etc. Pretty much cleaned us out. Didn't take any feed though!

So anyway, it isn't gonna be pretty for a while. We are insured but it will be a while before we recover.

Just thought I would fill ya'll in.
