Getting a Nitro Stampede for Christmas... I have numerous BIG fields near my house... However some of the the grass/weeds get pretty high... How high is too high for the grass? Same height as the tires? Twice the height of the tires? Half the height of the tires? ??? I don't want to go to all the trouble of carrying the truck out to a field and find out I have to go to a different field because the grass is too high... (Yeah, I know NO GRASS is the best, but I don't have any fields like that)... Thanks. :D

Grass is pretty hard to run in, it really takes away the power. Even short grass imo. I bet you find that you like running it on the road alot too lol, I know I love the road for any fast rigs.

Well, dang... That just took out over half of the local fields... I don't think I can mow someone else's field!! LOL!! Thanks...

dude ok,, i kno no grass and or weeds is better but as long as the grass is tire high and is not thick then ur good.. i run mine in grass and the slow take off gives my tmaxx 3.3 more long wheelies.. love it. but not to long ago i rode on some thick grass and my truck slowly ran over it until the thing sprung back and flipped my truck,, just some fyi.. run them anywhere..

I'd avoid fields but not always grass. I usually go to a local park and use mine there. Lawns can be fun and not as abusive as a field.

Good luck!
