In the last days we have gotten 7.75 inches of rain and its still coming down in buckets. We are supposed to get another 3-4 inches in the next 72 hours. We are at a 7 year high at this point and are expected to hit an all time record.

We are looking at some huge damage due to flooding in the next few days. I'm lucky to live on high ground but a lot of communitys along the Napa River and the Russian river wont be so lucky.

Its going to get UGLY!

In the meantime I'm fighting off all the ants that have no where to go. Its a loosing battle.

Good luck with all that water. I saw the flood warnings on the weather channel.

We are finally going to have a pretty weekend, and now I think it is going to rain here tomorrow morning and Monday (i wanted to run both of those days.)

If you dont want to read this, in summery, it says.....
YOUR fiddlesticked, GET OUT!

Flood Stage in some places is 19 feet. We are expected to be at 36 feet by noon tomorrow.

For a week and half they have been saying we're going to get it,too, but so far, other than a sprinkle last weekend, dry as it can be. And I live in a canyon area where we always get some rain before the other areas.

Good thing you have that fishing boat, Ed!

I'm gettin hammered too. What made it worse, is having carpet done today. I used to have a blow up sevlor kayak that I sold... Wish I kept that puppy now...

Gotta love living less than half a mile from the sacramento river! (at least the fishing will be at my doorstep.. and in the hall, the bathroom......)

Yeah I'm waiting for the storm to hit me too. Crappy way of spending new years weekend espeeially cuz I just got my tmaxx tires for my savy. Hope everyone stays safe this weekend.

hey ed hury up and finnish that boat and you can test it out in the living room!!! seriously though floods arent fun. everyone stay safe and try to stay out of the water!!

And as Lutenant Dan says, "Keep your feet warm and change your socks". Your feet are very sensitive and are walked on all the time so keep them warm and try to stay out of the water...there may be piranahs(and not the battery)!

I may need it to go rescue RobMob.

If the river floods my house, then downtown napa will be under 80'+ of water.

Guernville should be a lake by the end of the weekend. Again.

Hey Eddy and all the others up there...Good Luck! Between that and the pounding surf down in SoCal you guys are getting hit pretty good. I was supposed to head out there next week but now going to Dallas (crap!). I wanted to go hang at my little watering hole in Manhattan Beach and watch the surf role in. You guys shouldn't have to worry too much about mudslides will ya?

hope everything goes well, we haven’t been getting much rain here around LA, but they say we should be getting around 4-5 inches by the weekend.

Good luck Eddy. Didn't this happen to you last year too? Some of that rain should come to AZ but you're getting it all. It hasn't rained here to speak of in over 4 months, and our ski resorts are totally screwed.

I wanted to go hang at my little watering hole in Manhattan Beach and watch the surf role in.

Damn, another missed opportunity to have drinks.. damn,... and damn again!!!

Yeah, been raining like crazy here too... We had had to empty our pool every morning because it is on the very of overflowing. We emptied it over a foot yesterday, we will see if it helps :-) Ed, i live up on a hill, row your boat over here, and bring propane for my barbeque!

Man, I know. The area under our house got flooded with about 3-4 feet of water. Our pump was a crappy POS that wasn't made for being submerged... well it was submerged alright lol. So we had to cut the pipe, and install the new 1 in the rain. It sucked, but at least our basement wont have water in it. (btw, its perfect for an offroad track down there... i want to build 1 so bad lol). RAIN SUCKS.
