I wanted to buy a kit and it said no electronics included does that just mean the radio or other parts too? Thanks:)

You will need a throttle servo, steering servo, receiver, and transmitter, as well as a switch and receiver battery. When I built my Savage X SS, I bought 2 of these

If you want you can upgrade to a faster throttle servo later, that's what I will do. IT provides plenty of torque for me with the bashing that I do and even for the occasional track run.

I bought a radio and receiver from a stock RTR Savage for $25 brand new. You can get a 6 volt receiver pack on ebay for about 14 bucks shipped for the battery and charger.

I'm sending you a PM, it should help you out a lot.

yeap the regular Savage X SS kit that you were looking at will have the engine, but you can buy a kit for a lot cheaper which doesn't have an engine if you want to add your own. I've been very pleased with the HPI nitrostar K4.6. It's made my nova rossi for HPI, and I think it does pretty good for a stock engine, but the lrp z28 is supposed to be wicked for the price. I sent you a PM with everything you'll need for the Savage X SS kit.
