well, here i sit at NM's computer - in sunny sarasota. we got the buggies all setup this morning, and headed out to his close lhs. nothing we needed, so we headed down to the better one about 45mins away. picked up some stuff there, and asked if any good bash spots were close. store owner told us there was a great track not 5 minutes away, so there we headed.

well, anyways, here are some photos of the day.

Which buggy won the bash wars today? well, u tell me which buggy u dont see in all the photos actually moving.

Nice Reflex...looks likes all you need is an engine and to adjust the chassis settings.

I wish we had r/c tracks just laying around like you guys have them there! We got like 4, that's it, and 2 are portable.

pictures were taken with my olympus D-600L digital,this camera is about 5 years old now, not a great camera by todays standards, but always takes great pics!
Todays bash really wasn't much of a bash war! my cell pack died early so I decided to take a bunch of pics of NA and the track, this track is located in Englewood Fl. about 40 minutes from my house, although this track is small and designed for 1/10 cars its pretty decent, nice tabletops,turns and plenty of jumps! weird thing is nobody, and I mean nobody ever uses this track! I dont know why but i guess the park district of englewood built the track but no events were ever scheduled there, so it just sits! weve got some wrenchin to do this morning b4 we head back down there for a day of serious abuse! Now usually when I have guests over for a visit I will give them some kind of rude awakening as a wake up call, Na is fast asleep right now in my spare room, I am thinking of kickin in the door and firing up the leaf blower, I would use the chainsaw but it stinks up the house too much, That should teach him for all the poop talkin!!!
we got a great look at the BFT yesterday at my LHS, I went ahead and ordered one along with a lynx 3d fm radio, this will be my first MT, I dont care about the fake piggybacks, they will be easily replaced with new caps,This truck is BUILT! I can't wait!!!
as far as todays bash goes, the storm is running great! but can she fly? we will see, more pics tonight!
The weather::::: were having a bit of a cold snap right now, todays temps will only reach about 85, damn! I'm gonna have to wear my warm shorts!!! !:LoL:

i dont normally concentrate this much.

have finally made the decision on the mill for the refelx, jon - I'm putting an RB Concepts V12 in it this coming friday.

on another note - the RZ just puts out some serious power, i was really surprised, and dissapointed to see it shred my clutch bell today. we are headed to the hobby shop now to pick up a new bell. its an ofna bell, so hopefully it will fit my eb-4, that way we can have a final runoff tomorrow, since the score is now tied 1-1.

I am trying to get the carb off that engine to put onto my MT12. I heard that it was a badass mill. More than my MT12

No liars here! hehe.
Na 's clutch bell shattered and gave me the one up today! but all taken care of now,went to the lhs and got him an ofna 15 tooth bell and is now back in action! no track tomorrow, were gonna bash a wide open construction site, the weekend final pics will follow tomorrow eve!

Day 3

Well, here is the end of the weekend bash in Sarasota, I have been eying this site on the way to my LHS for a while and turns out to be the best bash finds ever, loaded with fresh pure sand and lots of nice jumps, the surface was perfect, why dont they make tracks out of this type of sand? I dont know My favorite part of this bash site? No Frickin water!!! well, all started well with some great rooster tails and lots of small jumps, then of course we got a little more crazy! I dont have alot of air time with my storm , but I learned alot today about how to land, well almost!! took one bad landing and broke my rear diif case but still didnt stop the storm(zip ties and ca)and it was back to the sand and air! NA's EB4 ran great as well! Lost his carb screw.
we will call today a tie because we both went home happy and still runnin! hers some pics!

oh hell yeah! today was my first real abusive trip with the storm and I gotta say I was amazed! I did some insane jumps and watched this car flip end over end all day! then after the broken diff case and zip ties it just kept going! And on the last jump of the day , guess what broke! The damn zip ties!! lol

I can't say enough about the gs storm! great car! Just dont land straight down on the wing and your fine, I am thinking about removing the wing after the repair till I learn a bit more about jumping! Had a great weekend with NA! we had a blast! I was glad he was there when I broke, it was his repair with the zip ties that kept me going the rest of the day! but hey! from what I hear,he is the king of zip ties!!!
