As i said in our introduction we are planning to build a nitro car track.

We have got to do numerous health and safety risk assessments and hope that you could recommend any health and safety points that we need to address.
Also wondered if you know any difficulties that we would face whilst planning/building our circuit, as well as what materials you recommend we use for our track.

Regards

The track is going to be aimed at 1:10 and 1:8 scale nitro buggy's/truggys

I dont know a lot a bout tracks but dont most places build a track for 1/10 scales and then a seperate bigger track for 1/8th or am I under the wrong impression?

i would assume ur right but i dont see any reason they couldnt run the same track. I'm no expert but i think clay would be a great surface to race on. Honestly it wouldnt matter to me as long as theres no big rocks, nice long landing ramps to be easier on the vehicle and easier to keep ur speed up and just the right angle ramps for more distance and average height.

As the track is for a youth service and there will not be any competition racing taking place it is purely for skill building and a bit of fun
