I have a revo 3.3 and i was woundering what brushless covertion kit would be the best for the money and compatibility?

The TEKNO rc conversion kit is about a $100. If you google search it you will find it

i have seen a lot of these threads and don't understand .WHY would you convert a nitro to electric.the alum chassi is a lot heavier then the pllastic or composit .so what is the benifit?

ok i read a little on it and it seems you reach full speed faster ,less weight with the nitro engine gone,no tuneing issues , cleaner.

but when the battries die doesn't the car slowly lose power . first laps full power the starts getting slower and slower until it dies ?

and if you want elec why not just buy elec.?

I tell you guys 1 thing. I LOVE nitro as well. 1 big advantage to me running electric is when its 6am and your outside enjoying your mornin coffee nothin beats runnin up and down the street or bashing off of jumps like an electric. They are faster, they get to top speed quicker, and are alot easier to keep running. That said again LOVE nitro but the electrics do have benefits! Just my .02 now that we have pretty much robbed fescue's thread. Sorry :(

I used to love nitro and still will run them for sure but... The reason to run brushless rigs is for only 1 reason... To BEAT the absolute CRAP out of a nitro...There is no nitro out there that can run with a brushless rig..

To answer your question Ballen, the battery technology these days is impressive. THey run full power until they die immediately, there is no slow loss of power, its completely gone. Even the new tool batteries these days do the same...My dewalt drill runs full power and then you squeeze the trigger again and it wont turn the chuck even without a load on it...

I Prefer nitro. Yes brushless rigs have their benefits they are faster, easier to maintain, and quieter. However I love the sound of a nitro engine the smoke and the smell of burning nitro. I love tinkering and rebuilding engines nitro is a lot more hands on which is one of the reasons I prefer it over electric. I started out with electrics but once I got my hands on a T-MAXX when they first came out I was hooked and never looked back.
