Nitro Star 15fe Vs. T-15

Quite a few differences.
t-15 makes more horsepower (1.2 hp versus .56). ABC (aluminum piston, brass sleave, chrome plated sleave )construction versus ABN (nickle plating) on the 15fe. Larger carb, better porting. More efficient cooling.

Yeah. Like Valk said the t-15 is alot better mill. The .15fe is a real touchy mill. I had nothing but problems with mine, and would NEVER attempt to run one again. I guess with a O.s. 10E carb on the 15fe it livens them up alot, but I had a hell of a time finding one, and decided to just scrap the idea and get a new mill. Get the T-15 (If these are your choices.) What is this mill going into?

wow those are some big diffrences... well my car came with a t-15. i've heard alot about the 15fe but never really knew what it was or what it was capable of. apparently i made a half way decent choice with my car. ok this brings me to my next question. what are some possible engine mods that my car would benefit from. a new carb? if so what would my possible choices be? thanks a bunch for the feedback guys.

If this car has the plastic tuned pipe, then upgrading to a good tuned pipe would be a wise choice. Not sure about the header. I used a Dynamite tuned pipe with my fantom fr15 in my nitro mt and was pretty happy with it.

The fe is a real turd, i had one. Stay away from that one. And i would recomend a o.s cv-r series engine over the t-15 also.

BTW: 4u2nv, when i had my fe i put a 10e carb on and it made a night and day diff , actually made that turd pretty dang decent. By all means not worth running out and buying a 10e carb but i happened to have one doing nothing.

We found out that if you lean one waaaayyyyy out, you can get an honest 37 mph out of a stock Nitro MT.
