i have a nitro rustler with a 3.3! any way of raising it or possibly bigger tires like a revo or tmaxx?

the rusty comes with 12mm hex or pins, can't remember which. the revo stuff is 14mm, 17mm, or bigger. you best bet is to find the biggest tires you can and keep stock size wheels.

I've seen people convert rc10s to buggy wheels, so that may be an option, but i think MT shoes will be to tough on the suspension.

You can run a 30 series (2.8 inch) tire like comes on the Stampede for more lift. Keep in mind though, that when you go up in tire size, you're also adding more unsprung mass that has to be accelerated and decelerated, and you'll probably want to re-gear since it will change your roll out ratio. Also, it puts more stress on the drive shafts / dogbones and bearing carriers as well.

have any suggestions on the biggest wheel and where i can find them?

Check out the Proline 2.2 or 2.8 Mashers. I bring these tires up every chance I get because I like them that much. Great all around tire. They're just a little taller than the 2.8 Talons, so your ground clearance would be on par with a Stampede. Good compromise. Any bigger and your talkin' upgrading carriers and driveshafts. And funky handling.
