Just got a nitro rustler used. I have turned up the low speed needle and it still seems to stall when idiiling. First it runs strong then dies down all in about 7 seconds. Any help would be appreciated. =]

When you let it sit and idle does it take a while to die or does the idle get higher then it dies?

It also can be to rich on the low speed needle lean it out an hour or two and see how it does. If its just dying after 3 secs i think its to rich.

So pretty much just lean it out on the low speed needle? I just looked and I dont see the idle needle.

also check for air leaks in your tank, exhaust, or tube from exhaust to tank. You might be loosing pressure. But I would try what the others said first.

There is one heres a picture of a 2.5s carb look closely

the needle is really hard to see in low light conditions, as well as it is hidden pretty good behind the tubes and wires.

Just bought a new 2.5 rustler and had trouble finding it

To add.... pull off the air filter so you can see the opening. Even with the brake applied it should remain open by like a millimeter. And yes give it some throttle when you turn that idle screw clockwise to raise the idle.:D

have you done fact settings hsn 2.5 out and lsn 1.5 out and if it doesent idle turn up your idler
