kay guys well i kno i havent posted on this forum much because i had a 4 tec and sold it after 2 weeks. now that some troubles there. but now i had the itch for nitro and picked upa nitro rs4 rtr 3. well now i want a lil more power out of this one speed kinda slow nitro. what kind of muffler would be good? and what other modifications would you guys think is good? thanks

Is it bone stock? Still have the single needle carb? If so yank that pos off there and throw an OS 10e carb on it. This is the single best thing you can do for a stock RS4 3. Then add a two speed tranny, and either a THS racing pipe, (this is the one I went with), or the RD Logics pipe. A set of adjustable turnbuckles is nice too.
I got the RS4 3 Evo RTR and that stock engine sucked. It was a 2 needle 2 speed and still sucked.
I dumped it for an OS 18 CV-RX with slide carb and a THS pipe, lighter chassis, along with carbon deck and shock towers and the thing rips apart my stock NTC3+ easliy.
