I know buggys arent really meant for being driven in grass but why does mine seem to bog down and sometimes die when driving in deep grass. I leaned it out a bit because i was running a bit rich and i noticed it had more power but it still seemed to bog down a bit but not as much. thanks

Because the huge increase in drag along the bottom and front. Becareful, your temps will rise with the increase load.

I agree with CG. The buggy is lighter and geared higher so it will get dragged down easier when off-roading in tall grass.

Doesn't seem like much but consider scale, equal to driving a car through waste high field.

If you do want to drive in grass a lot, gear it down by getting a clutchbell that is 1 or more fewer teeth than what you currently have. Your top speed will decrease, but you will be able to run through typical grass easier without working the engine/clutch as hard.
