Hey how good are nitro powered rock crawlers, i have the new t-maxx 3.3 (4908) and i wanna try rock cawling but wouldnt it overheat? and what are problems with the t-maxx rock crawling

The clutch setup on the nitro is going to cause a big problem with trying to crawl, as well as the way that a nitro motor delivers the power through the torque curve as it revs.

The T-Maxx is not set up in anyway to be a crawler. However, you have some options. You can buy an axial AX-10 kit for under $200 now, get some electronics for $100 or less, and you'll have yourself a very capable rig. If there's anything that I can help you with, just let me know. Feel free to shoot me a PM. I've helped several guys on here get their rigs and stuff picked out and get started in crawling. Anything that you have questions with, I'll take the time to answer as best I can.
