ok so I'm looking for a new rc truck and I've picked 3 and if anyone can help me pick the one thats best out of the 3 that would be great!

cen genesis 7.7
losi mega baja
hpi savage xl 5.9
which would be best thanks

Well if that's your 3 then make it two.....The CEN is a bigtime junker. They can't even compete. It's a freakishly large engine(somewhere in the .40's) that can be beat by something half that size. If I was seriously considering an hpi xl I would take a look at the losi lst xxl as well. Both are BAD ASS!!

The Losi mega baja has almost the same chassis as the LST just not as strong and it is discontinued, definately stay away from the Cen it is crapola. The Savage is the clear choice out of those three, you can beat the snot out of it and it comes back for more. In my opinion sitting atop the Monster truck basher pyramid side by side are the Savage and LST2. I own or have owned most all of the main stream MT's and these are the two I pick up when it's time to beat on a rig. .02c

Theres an associated mgt 8.0 that runs by me - that thing can take a beating and a half, and the amount of power it makes is freakish... any reason you've limited your list?

if i had to choose one of the three - i would get the savage.. every one that i've seen has handled some nasty stuff without too many breaks.

I have a Xl 5.9 here, and i have seen it take some punishment. Only crack a "A" arm so far.

thanks alot everybody.theres really no reason I've limited but thanks for ur suggestion ill look it up.

Well if your choices aren't limited then another alternative would be the Traxxas Revo 3.3 5309, its a proven race platform and there are a metric :dancingpoop: ton of hopups out there for it and not to mention it already comes with a 2.4 Ghz radio setup on it and it has reverse if that matters to you, i own an older revo 3.3 5309 and i have had not serious issues with it(i bought it used) so i had some things that i had to replace on it to get it to the condition its in now but thus far i have broken nothing major and i run the snot out of it when i take it out. Just my :2cents: on the situation
