Do you know if the LST2 parts would fit an AfterShock? Just curious because I am really considering the AfterShock, and I have a feeling I am going to be needing more durable parts, and customization is fun.
Unfortunately I would stay away from the savage ss kit because they have the older diffs which are weaker than the newer bulletproof diffs. The newer savage x 4.6 is a nice rig and I've seen it in action. I have no experience with team losi eventhough I wanted an xxl but I got my baja instead. No matter what you do the wifey will be pissed but to get on your good side, maybe do something around the house or a nice weekend. That's how I manage to keep the water under the bridge.
For the most part, yes, the XXL is where they made a few changes. If it is even close to the XXL in durability, you will probably be surprised by the though. Cheap stock parts can be found on ebay, I've used this seller before and haven't had any issues.
Hope you feel better and feel free to ask us anything when it comes time to do break in. Are you sure you did not pies off the misses? Just kidding, LOL. While you're out of commission take the time toook it over and check for loctite.
