duratrax nitro evader BX its got an os .18 engine didnt seem that bad
plus it has a 1 year warrnety on all plastic parts and RTR at $250 it didnt seem that bad...

I've had one for about a month now. I love it, but it was my first nito rc car experience so I probably would have loved anything I got. Don' listen to the rumors, it's a great car. I can't believe how much power it has! Mine does break a lot, but I don't think it's because of bad craftmanship, just me being way too hard on it. Every time I go out I break something, but usually a typical time out for me is about 6-7 tanks and I roll it or slam it in to something a few times every tank. The parts guarantee is awesome too. I've replaced all my broken parts with my money at my lhs, but I still have all the broken parts that I will send in soon and get a whole bunch of parts back. Actually I haven't hardly broke anything that wasn't covered yet except for a cv drive. You will break suspension arms all the time and wheel hubs so get a few extras to keep around. Enjoy it. I've hooked so bad that now I'm trying to decide on a 1/8 scale to get!

I own a Duratrax Maximum ST. My impression was poor quality. Duratrax RC's in general carry a bad taste for the people that have owned them. I guess I shouldn't generalize and say that about all Duratrax RC's, but that certainly was the case for me.
