RC Driving Style
I just bought a new car with a .15 engine (HPI T-15). The guy at my LHS gave me a bottle of fuel with 10%. But the manual says I should use something in between 16%-26%.

It would be for some off-road bashing, no racing. Can I stick with the 10%? Or should I go for the 16%? Will it make a big difference, 10% or 16%? Can I do the break-in with the 10% and then switch to 16%, or is that a bad idea?

Thanx,
Nick

You can use 10% however you will get much better performance with a good brand of 20%. You will find that tuning will be more consistent and your temperatures will be easier to maintain.

20% is the industry standard for RC cars. You can brake in using whatever fuel you have but when you change % you will need to re-tune.

20%

i would go with 20% because i had a .15 and it over headed all the time cause i used 10% use 20% because its got more oil content. hope i helped!
