I have a set of venom 1600 MaH batteries for my Merv and i plugged one of them into my Venom Pro Charger and when it beeped to tell me it was fully charged it was only at 1156 Mah for the capacity. My question is, Is it possible to cycle the batteries a few times and get the capacity back up to somewhat close to 1600 or and am i screwed and thats all i am gonna get out of them?

Acually Rob,I think that the 1156 is the mAh it took to top it off not the capacity within the battery.
The number will vary by how much you discharge it each time.

Usually a NiMh pack will "wake up" after a few charge/discharge cycles. What is the rated capacity of the battery BTW?

+1 what racer said. it just shows on the charger how much juice was put into the battery. not counting what was already in it.

I fully discharged the battery on the charger with a discharge cycle and then i fully charged it and it only came to 1156. . .but i'll cycle them today and see if i can "wake" them up. the rated capacity is 1600

Understand as well, when you "discharge" a battery, you dont fully drain the energy from the cells. There will always be a little bit of "juice" in each cell, which adds up to quite a lil bit when combined together.

would it leave somewhere in the neighbor hood of 400Mah in it???. . .
