Hi, Today I tried using some rechargeable NiMH Energizer AA Batteries and all the servos were having a little spaz, put the regular non-rechargeable Duracells back in and it was fine.

Do servos not like NiMH or something?

They should work fine.
Try discharging the batteries and recharging them again.
Was your radio turned on as well?

NiMH batteries are trend right now as they hold no memory. Whereas the older NiCad did and did not last long if not discharged properly. IF you are really looking into getting the best, then Lipos are the latest.

As far as the NIMH will work fine but you will not get the full potential of the servos. With 4 AA batteries you get 4.8 volts but if you use a 5 cell rechargeable pack you will get 6 V and get the most out of eash servo.

Look into it.

NiMH AA batteries ? if when you recharge them dont do it while theyre still in the truck or radio. i blew the bottom off of a brand new jr radio that way....

I don't see charging them in the TX being wrong so long as the charger is made for it specifically and the batteries being charged are correct.

Let me correct that...

As far as the NIMH type batteries, they will work fine but in order for you to maximize your power output to the servos a 6 volt RX pack is a must. With 4 AA batteries you get 4.8 volts but if you use a 5 cell rechargeable pack you will get 6 V and get the most out of eash servo.

Sorry bout the dribble....

Awesome, can't wait to order and try it out.

Thanks for all the information guys :)

Yup, that would work well. Like Jon was trying to say so eloquently, you'll get the best performance out of your system if you use battery packs rated at 6 volts. That one should work just fine for you.
Har har har..... :badair:

That battery in particular is made to fit the MGT.
If thats what your putting it in, you should be fine.
