I am an rc newbie, and I have a problem with my v-one rr's steering.

It physically will not turn as much left as it will right. Also, with the electronics on, it makes a buzzing noise when I turn it right. And it still has the problem where it turns more right than left.

What do I need to adjust to make it steer equal distances left and right?

Cheers.

Maybe the servo horn isnt centered. It could be off slightly and not allowing it to turn right...

Yup! Sounds like your servo isn't centered.

Take the servo arm off the servo, then turn your TX and RX on. Adjust your steering trim to zero. Once you've done that, put the servo arm back on. The throw each way should be the same. If it's not, or the servo moves slowly, check your RX batteries. Failing that, and you have a more advanced TX (like a JR 3XI), you may want to check the TX settings.

Hope it helps! Good Luck!

yea, do what they said. you could adjust your steering trim knob, but it is better to just take off the servo arm, center the servo and install it back on.

yeah i also agree sounds like the horn is not centered..for it to make the buzzing noise.

Sorry for being a total newbie, but I'm not sure which bit the horn is.

Is it the part attached to the steering servo in which the two long bits which turn each wheel are attached to?

if you look at the servo, it is the very first thing that attatches to the servo. It should be a little thing with a screw going into it, then into the servo.

heres a pic of one one a servo:

but you may have one that looks different like one of these:

it may not even be one I showed you, but they attatch to the servo like in the first pic.
