Newbie Question

I have a JR XR3i 75mhz, Can I use any Brand Crystal in the 75mhz range?
I'm assuming a Crystal Set is one for the TX and RX?

Its my understanding that all 75 mhz FM crystals are universal.

I'm not sure about that eddy. I went with a friend to buy some crystals and they asked him what brand of radio it was. He has an Airtronics M3. It also is FM 75mhz. I own the new synthesized JR so I have no need to buy crystals

Hmm.
I did a search at tower and found that all the manufacturers have crystal sets but only a few specify for their equipment only.

Anyone know for sure?

I went to my LHS today (got my Savage) and they said that they didnt know either? They always just recomend using the same brand as the TX? I bought my Radio there so they stock the JR crystals.
