Newb to electric pan cars HELP!!

I'm looking to see if I can get into electric. I've seen that pan cars are pretty damn fast so I have gained an intrest in them. I've done the nitro thing and I want to have something thats fast and I dont need to go out of my way to buy a bottle of fuel for. Ne1 know a good pan car kit thats good to start out with for a decent price. So far the only kit i know of is the L3 from Associated that looks good and has a decent price tag. But I'm unsure of the ESC, Motor, and batteries to get. Ne ideas or other kits I should look into?

Look into getting a novak brushless motor, it comes with an esc alreasy. Those things last forever.

I have been wanting a 2wd myself. Either a touring car or oval pan car. Undecided on which.
