ummm

honestly, you should go for more power, THe .15 engine was ok for 7 years ago but today it's WAY outdated. Try and get at least a 2.5 or 2.5r engine, but you have the right idea to stick with traxxas or any name brand. You always want to make sure you can get parts for it before you buy it. I say keep looking

Ok I'm looking for something under 200 if that helps lol. I mean initail cost I will add mods and such later on but just to get started I really dont want to spend more than that. Thanks.

Looks good, but you just have to be careful about those kinds of things. Also that truck probably won't go for 102 bucks, but go for it, has a lot of nice upgrades.

if you can get all of that for under $200 go for it, but ask the seller some questions like how much fuel has he run through the motor and why is he selling it? good luck...on the T Maxx that is, that stampeed is a little old...

The Stampede you linked to would be a fun truck. As for the .15.......The .15 Stampede will run side by side with a 2.5 Maxx all day long. It will pull wheelies no problem, jumps well, and is an all around tough truck! The best thing about it is that you can find a nice one in your price range!

With that said... I don't like this particular auction because of this.........Copied from auction

"As with this hobby, all items sold AS-IS. The truck runs fine, but it does not come with that body. It comes with a brown chevy body that in pretty good condition, but its far from new."

His main description was in large green letters that are very easy to see and read, the above part is typed in light grey small letters and stuck in between a couple of photos. It makes me feel that he is hiding something. It might be nothing but I don't like that way he did it.

He should also have a picture of exactly what he will be shipping

I think I have decided that i am going to spend more and I would like to get a kit for a savage but someone said they don't make them anymore. I just want to put it all together myself so I know where everything goes lol.

savage x ss is a kit but needs pieces other then the kit as well

HPI still makes the Savage X kit. It costs $380 on TowerHobbies.com but you'll need a radio, servos, and a battery.

they both sound like a pretty good deal BUT!! the ss kit does not come with radio gear.. you will also have to buy a roto wand and a 7.2v battery as well as a charger and a glow sarter..the second one is an rtr that seems to be in good clean condition, but doesn't realy have much info as to what it comes with. and for some reason i think I've seen it before.. i think its the mountain dew shot. looks very familuar
