got my fisrt truck yesterday, and broke the lower control arm on viper xst, that was easy, but the reason i wrecked was no sreering and full throtle nothing i could do. fixed my wheel turned on the truck servos work but the contrller doesn't any ideas. also will redcat volcano parts work no the himoto viper xst

+1 sounds like your receiver/servo battery pack died on ya. (or you ran it out of range of your radio)

No steering and full throttle... I am guessing you do not have a fail-safe?

It sounds like you are getting interference, if it isn't your batteries. Either way you NEED a fail-safe. Cheapest insurance you will ever buy at $25.

So, check your batteries and make sure you have power. If that fixes it you are good to go. If you still have issues move to another area and try it again. If your problem goes away you are getting interference in your radio system.

Then GET THAT FAIL-SAFE!

brand new batts. when i turn on truck pac both servos move, turn on remote nothing happens, changed crystal, different remote still nothing

The first and last thing off should always be your transmitter.
