Not having any experience with Reef's tools, how do you find the quality of those Hex drivers? So far, my experience with everything I have used with the Reef's name on it, they have all been of the highest quality. My primary tool set that I use is an ever-growing set of Fix-It-Sticks, but I also have this Traxxas set, and this Dynamite set. Both have done really well, and are high quality, especially the Traxxas set. The issue with the Dynamite set is they are really small, so you have to use them in conjunction with the driver that comes with them. The Traxxas set I use those hex drivers with other tools, like my Dewalt and the Fix-It-Sticks drivers, which makes them very convenient, as I see the Reefs have that same functionality as well.

I have been looking at some ProTek and MIP tools, recently, leaning toward the MIP, as from everything I have read, they are the highest quality RC tools you're going to find, plus the ProTek do not come in larger sets, just in four tool bundles.

I have heard the Traxxas drivers are good quality. I think @david has a set.

They are, indeed. I really like mine, a lot.
The traxxas tools are pretty good quality. I have been using their long hexes for years without issue. The dynamite ones have been pretty solid too.

The only complaint I have with the Dynamite set, as I mentioned, is that they will only work with the Dynamite driver, and it isn't of the highest quality (sometimes the directional knob turns while you are using them, forcing you to stop and reset it), but the hex tips have held up really well, so far. The Traxxas tools I have, have been rock solid, no complaints on them at all. I hear a lot of positive things said about MIP and the Protek tools, except the Protek hex bits that will fit in your drill, there seems to be some complaints about those rounding off on Amain. I was just wondering if the Reef's drivers are of equal quality to the Traxxas or MIP tools, given most everything else they make seems to be of high quality.

Not sure how they compare to either of those, but the bits that came with the handle are great. The others with the 1/4 in ends are questionable. But they are way better then what we had been using so it was nice to get em in the box 😂.

Woot! Wait til ya get a look of that piece of art in person. Just a bit of a heads up... I'm probably going to start liking you less and less as you progress through a build thread.

And buy your kid a nice gopro for Christmas. You gotta start getting us some video 🤣

What would be a decent one to get to mount on board?

My dad has been asking for ideas for Xmas 😂
Anything from the Hero Black line, from like 9 and up should be good I believe. I know a few of the versions initially had problems, and some of that was firmware. But it seemed like they were always fairly quick to fix that stuff. If it's going on an RC, heck, I'd probably just go on ebay and grab a used one. There are the Akaso brand ones too. Cheaper Chinese brand, but they are supposed to be pretty good too.
