I've noticed that too. It's just too good to pass them deals up. Get to keep your old parts like 2revo mentioned. Just make sure to seal that new engine straight away before mounting it to your rig. Eliminate air leaks before they happen. Get er as warm as possible with a hair dryer when you start it as well.

I replaced the back axle carriers with RPM and used the old parts to complete the fronts, wheels not wobbly anymore. If you were going to put only one set of upgraded carriers on like I did would you put them on the rear or front?

Personally, go with the RPM true-track setup in the rear and the RPM carriers in the front. Especially if your pondering getting another set of RPM carriers in the near future. For another $12, you get more convenience and less wear items. True Track includes rear arms/hing pins for the carriers, and carriers.

Getting true-track in the rear gets rid of more slop and adjustments. For a basher like myself, the less adjustments and wear items (ball ends/turnbuckles/pivot balls), the better.

forgot bout the true trac, had seen it but was'nt in the market, great idea!! solves rear adjustment issues and frees up the new carriers for the front. Thanks!

On the rear, I like stock carriers up front. They offer a weak link in a crash and are easy to swap out in a hurry.

oh I'm gonna have crash issues for sure. I bought this revo used and the guy "upgraded" lots of nice bendable alum, Front uppers, revo alum bumpers and skid plate, rear uppers, tie rods and push rods all round. I already filled the tool kit w RPM replacements. Sure looks good tho'.
You know what was odd, I'll tell ya, the seller sends me some spare parts with the purchase, including a previously installed set of integy front uppers that looked like twizzlers! I'm thinking why would you send those? To show me how you beat her up? Odd for sure.
