They just look like a useless set of nerf bars.
Designed to stop anything, usually other cars, from driving into and getting jammed between the wheels and turning you over.
Those particular ones dont look very effective though, and I could be wrong, they could be only for decoration.
Good luck trying to having fun running 2 mills......

I gotta go get a pullstart tomorrow and if it hasn't snowed yet I'll put up a video, this thing is twice as fast as my revo

WOW! Lose the K&N air filters and get a pair of Motor Savers.

I just noticed you're from KNOXVILLE! Where do you run? I have a Savage that's just begging to come off the shelf and see some dirt.

Get your parts at HobbyTown USA on Parkside Drive. Ask for Robert or John and tell 'em Ralph sent you. They'll charge you extra just to put up with you.

I would love to bash with you man but I am from Knoxville, IA lol, the sprint car capitol of the world!!! Guess I should have been more specific. What's so bad about the K&N's opposed to the motorsavers?

is ok rolex would just push his savage around on a tarp he brought and laid over the track anyway... :D

K&N Filters are made for cars. Real cars. Those little K&N filters can't save the little particles from getting in. With foam, it's way better. Like MotorSavers, they are the best.

the filters have cone shaped foam inside of them with red oil on em', are they still junk?

Went to the track today, once I got this thing dialed in it was a BEAST!, it has more torque than I could imagine and it was faster than my buddy's month old jato 3.3 on a good 10 yard straight away. I can't wait till spring so I can get in on some tractor pull action. I did have to zip tie a hunk of metal onto the front to keep it down, barley tap the throttle and it wheelies. It doesn't jump pretty good too except on the big jumps no matter what you do it lands tail first but it's all cool.

LMFAO!
One day I'll have to get it dirty just to stop the endless abuse.

If you want to keep the front end under control and get some wicked top end, change it to a taller gear ratio.

Nah, then we'll all just claim it's photoshopping at it's finest. Unless you video it going full tilt through a mud bog. That might work for most of us.

Wow!

I love the set up, Duel motors, Must hit peak torque around 25,000 rpm, Do you ever think about wheelie bars for that monster? My Boss at work has a Savage 4.6 that he want's me drop in a 5.9 block in her, I happily agreed! Even though I'm drawn to the new XL! You will play with nos soon, I bet! You have gone as far as adding two motors, and I though I was obsesied! LOL

Just curious, how would you gear two mills together such that they work together harmoniously?

edit: brad, a mill is an engine

I'm guessing identical clutch bells. The hard part is getting the carb settings fairly close so that they don't struggle against each other.

In real cars I thikn they would use a differential in reverse, is that the case in rc cars? I think the room limitation makes it hard...
