New toy

Got a toy a while back from a customer of mine just gave it to me been working on it for about a month now put a new motor in it new receiver I think it’s ready to go I’m just waiting for my turbo plugs to be delivered and I need some 30% nitro It had a Sirio 27 But I didn’t know what I was doing and sees it up real good bent the piston arm broke off the side of the piston off and cracked the block Because the arm tried to go through the block so I put a 28 in it just a cheap thing I got to try out also picked up another motor it’s a 28 two that one’s for back up when I blow this one up

That's not a bad looking Traxxas T-Maxx at all @Jaydawg6528. The only thing I would change is that K&N type filter for something like a Motor Saver filter.

I was working at a customers house and he was having a yard sale and I noticed the RC car sitting there and I said hey that’s cool. At the end of the job as I was loading up my stuff I noticed in the back of my truck it was the RC car and the transmitter and a couple other spare parts it’s been sitting in my garage for about two years the first time I drove it I snapped the driveshaft and put it away until now

It came with the Sirio 27 motor I didn’t know what I was doing got it running one night it was screaming high RPMs didn’t know about cleaning or richening The fuel all the sudden in a split second the motor came to a stop seized up. I pulled the motor apart and when I got the back plate off the piston arm was trying to go through the side of the engine block it was bent half of the piston was gone so that probably good motor which is hard to find these days and you can’t find parts for them I bought two brand new motors 28th hopefully I won’t do it to these ones as I’ve been watching videos on break-ins and how to operate in that nitro motor correctly
