Man I grew up riding road bikes and enjoyed it all the way through highschool. Then I got out of the sport a few years ago I went with a friend mountain biking 1 time thats it 1 time I mean I like to live on the edge but that stuff is INSANE. Not for me NO THANKS. I shall stick to the road X

The tag on that rig is $2,100...my lightweight cross country bike's got about $2,800 wrapped up in it.



X_789....Living on the edge? At least in Mountain Biking - it's you against...non moving, trees, rocks, ledges, etc. With Road Riding...its you against 3,000lb+ moving cars and trucks! Not to mention the exhaust fumes.

If you've been a "roadie" in the past...if you gave it a bit of a chance you'd be right there on the trail with me every chance you got bro!

I'd love to have you come out and show you some great, clean safe fun on these trails here. No traffic to worry about, no fumes...no road rules to abide by. It scares the crap out of me to have to ride my bike even short stretches along the road!

My XR-150 has a problem with the front wheel. i need to ask you about it.

I may need to take those non-adjustable shocks apart and put a stiffer spirng inside, they are just soft.

mcvickj, you were posting the same time I was, this is by far a record, as well as a very good example of what NOT to do. With the number of new threads here daily, what purpose does bringing this thread back even serve. Hell it's not even RC related.
