I am new to the sport and I want to buy a new nitro truck. I want the best truck out there with the biggest engine. Whish one is that? Also I was wondering if they sell 4 stroke engines for rc trucks?

I don't know of any 4-strokes available for the hobby-sized trucks. What do you plan on doing with the truck? Racing or bashing?

Biggest isn't always the best for nitro engines. For example, the HPI 5.9 isn't as good as the 4.6 in the Savage SS according to what a lot of the guys who have them have posted here.

Personally I would recommend the HPI Savage SS 4.6 for bashing and the Revo 3.3 for racing/bashing.

Thanks for the info guys. I just wanted to build an extremely fast truck that I could take out to the track once in awhile.

I have owned a few different Traxxas nitro's but not a HPI so I can't speak of the HPI savage but I have heard it is pretty awesome so... anyway out of the different nitro's I have owned by far the best I have owned is my revo 3.3. It is pretty much just a good all around rc good for climbing racing and it will take a pretty big jump not as big as a t maxx but it will get as much air as I need and the handling is amazing compared to my t maxx. Just my opinion hope this helps.

Not sure how hard this would be to do but sounds fun. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1H8MNHbqXLA"]Tmaxx 4-stroke .40 - YouTube[/ame]
