Hello,
I'm new to the R/C hobby and i love it, i bought a used car and fixed it up, I am very pleased with what i have but i would like to move up a level, right now i have a traxxas nitro sport and i wasn something with a little more speed and torque to it, but i wanna stay under $400.....what would you reccomend me to get?

Don't really know what the nitro sport is. What kind of using do you want to do with it?? Back yard bashing?? Racing, On road racing. That would help to know how you want to use it.

Hey I'm into jsut back yard bashing, the nitro sport is like the traxxas rustler's lil brother, it has the .15 engine in it but i want a new car, I'm jsut stuck on what to get......plz help lol

if u want somthiogn fast powerful and realiable for just havign fun get a maxx or a savage... but if u watn power get the savage or speed get the maxx. or u can get som kinda of buggy or somthign. and i gto a sport too

here this might help
Torque=E-maxx
Speed=T-maxx/Rustler
Power=savage
power/speed-=buggy
durability=savage/T-maxx/Emaxx/buggy

I dont know just what I think.

Hey thanks for the info....do you think it would better jsut to put better suspension and a bigger engine on the sport or jsut get a whole new car.......

Actually I would quite have to agree with KornKid. I was at my local track rippin it up today and honestly what was mostly out there today I mean on the track running all the time were buggy's and savages. Lots o people had a maxx too but most run and bash time comes from a buggy or a savage.

What you could do is what somebody did on here is take a buggy and but MT tires on it then you got the best of both worlds.

Buggys are kinda pricey though, I've gotta stay under around 400....I'm think abotu jsut hoping up my sport.....what do u guys think?

The bad thing about that conversion was that he lost speed.

Hey man do whatever you wanna do. Do you have a picture of that thing anywhere.

So this is your vehicle right?? Doesn't look like a bad way to go. Really just depends on how happy you are with it and all that good stuff. If you aren't totally satisfied with it hop it up. If those don't improve how it works you will wish you had purchased a new vehicle. I would suggest getting a sportmaxx, Tower is selling them for like $309.99 Just my .02

if you decide that you want a buggy you can get the ofna ultra mbx pro. it's around $340 i think, so it's in your price range.
