hi I've just bought a kyosho pureten alpha gx12.
and want to know as much as i can about to keep it well maintained and everything =)
thanks everyone who replies

After Run Oil Etc.

Hi welocme to the hobby, it's best to use after run oil if running your car less than once a week it may seem expensive but it's alot cheaper than a new engine. Some people may recommend WD40 but it is best to do things properly. Clean your car after main runs (I drive off-road cars it is more important when driving off-road but still). NEVER run an engine too lean a little rich is good for begginers. Hope you enjoy the hobby. :)

ok thanks mate
also I've broke the pullstart on it so i need to buy a new 1 but i find that it would b cheaper if i bought a new engine.
if i buy a new engine would i be able to run it in on 20% fuel or not?
thanks again

How?

I thought a pull start cost around £15 ($30) and a new engine over £50
($100). But it depends on the type of engine if you are new to the hobby I wouldn't advise running it on 20percent it doesn't lubricate the engine as mush as 16percent. :ponder2:

on ebay theres a kyosho gx12 engine on thats never bene used wich is goin cheap plus if i buy that ill hav spares off my old engine :)
ok thanks
