Ouch!! Well, I WAS going to buy one. But not if Losi is going to try to rape you for Mugen/Kyosho style prices.

I hope that is just pre-sale, and they get more like Hyper 8 pricing when it actually comes out. I had my heart set on getting one.

The pricing is outrageous, and it's only a kit for $500,damn losi is expensive.

I got some pics of the new losi...

Thanks Tigger

Have you looked at the other top of the line buggies? 600+

Dude that price is very resonable. I just shelled out Over $700 bucks for an STR. In fact that if you check the market, most competetion kits are well above that price.

Can any of you guys tell what engine that is in the picture of the Losi Eight? :ponder2:

It looks like a Mr. Ninja, but it could be an aftermarket head.
I beleive that is the MR ninja engine. I saw that engine up close and personal RCX this year. Damn nice.

Did anybody from here that went to rcx catch picture's of this buggy? and thinking about the VB i can see where your point is about cost of the buggy.

that is not a Ninja, that is the new Motors That adam drake is going to be running. I think they are a picco based motor that trinity will be developing and selling.

that one VB posted looks a lot like the Ninja then

Well I'm assuming the top picture is of the ninja, but what I'm wondering is,is AD or other losi's guy's going to use the Nova engine like the one in the picture,Thank's for the picture's Jon.

Not sure I saw a few differnt drivers using the Nova P5 and then saw a few running OS engines. I never saw one driver with Ninja. THen again they were hauling ass.

How did the design look from your point, does it look like it could be a solid running rig,did anybody break anything while they were running on the track? Where the 8ight's running noticablly faster than the other 1/8th scale rigs?

Never saw the 8ight run all that much. Drake was the only one using it.It is still a prototype rig.

Actually guys I just found this.....its a new mill from trinity

the engine that Trinity and Adam Drake are developing together! Adam has been using the engine since the silverstate race; the line which will also feature a .12 engine will be called the Trinity / Drake Platinum Series.

Cool new mill's to be tested,I've seen some of the pic's above already, what I'm trying to figure out is why the mill's a 3.5 and not the usual .21

I saw Adam Drake driving the new buggy tonight at Revolution Raceway. It was clearly the fastest car on the track, but what wouldn't with Adam driving it. The Buggy did look good though.
