do a search on the forum and u will find out that all superchargers are crap and dont work because it is a two stroke engine

Yea man, I asked the same question about it on another forum and got chewed out about it. The problem with supercharging an rc car is that forced induction on an engine that small can result in disaster. Plus you stand the chance of forcing dirt or other particles into the engine. Not a good thing. Overall its kind of a waste when it comes to the price tag on most of them and the possible disaster.

Ya know while the current applications of superchargers is not a popular idea to the diehards that believe if man was supposed to fly then he'd have wings but it's really not an impossible idea. The more and more they are tested and refined they have the potential to dramatically improve the performance output of an rc engine. While they are currently not quite up to par of making an engine more efficient, to say the least, they do have the potential to both increase the output and efficiency of an engine with the proper application. Like I said this will need more testing and refinement but with a little inspiration and a lot of perspiration anything is possible.
I just wish more people would bash the superchargers after they had actually tried them rather than listening to some people who have tried them unsuccessfully or just ASSofUandM(e)ing that it couldn't possibly work because it's a 2 stroke engine. Some of these people who listened to those who had actually tried one ASSofUandM(e)d that the person they were listening to knew all.
You can try the whole physics issue of a 2 stroke engine and how all you're doing is just blowing more raw fuel out the exhaust because of the additional air input into an engine. This is true and it does currently happen because that issue has not been solved yet as to how to prevent this and while one day it very possibly be solved who would want to since no one likes a product.
I remember in my paintball days when people told me I could not get a marker which generally operates at 300psi to operate and propel a ball @300fps with only 90psi of input pressure. Ya know what, after a few months of tinkering they ended up eating a big shitburger when I showed them to their disbelief.
To be quite honest, I like this idea of an electrically driven fan for the supercharger and it does show potential for further improvement into a successful supercharger for a 2 cycle engine.

Gotta love the people that spew 'facts' without knowing what they are talking about. Yes most two strokes discharge fresh charge out the exhaust port. Not even bringing in to light methods that help and/or eliminate that, forced induction DOES increase 2 stroke power VERY nicely. They have been used in my field, PWC's and snowmobiles for YEARS. They work on sleds much better than skis, as the RPM use of skis is not as conducive to the powerband. They make for really nice drag skis/sleds though. Even though you will have more fresh charge blown out in most applications, you are ALSO igniting more charge and thus making more power.
Supercharging an r/c engine is certainly plausible, although I have no idea if the current systems on the market work, I've never tried them.

I am pretty familiar with turbos and superchargers in import tuning, but I was wondering if anyone had actually created a tru turbo that utilized and exhaust wastegate? That would help out with some of the compression issues. I just worry that strapping one of those superchargers to my car could end up heating it up way too bad. On 1:1 cars there is always the option of an intercooler. If you add one of these superchargers to your car what else would you have to change? Everything? I am wondering if they could take the power that could possibly come out of one of these beasts. Well, I am going to keep watching this thread cause this topic has got my attention. Maybe we can get one of the guys that created them to help explain some of the stuff. Post pics too if you have one installed.
