New Steering Servo Advice

Heys guys i've got another question, i would like to improve my steering servo which is a Acoms AS-12 Servo because i just think it's too slow now. Ideally i want something that has powerful steering, can fit my Tamiya TB-01 Chassis and below £30. Any advice/suggestions would be great. Thanks

That servo has a speed of about .25 seconds. That is one of the slowest servos out. If you want more speed, look into getting a servo that is under .15 seconds. Racers use servos that are no more than .08 seconds.

the anticipation rate of that servo must be wild.. how is that drivable?

Is that a mini or standard size? It looks like it is a shorty. That is pretty cheap. Do they last long?

digital servos have better holding power and finer resolution.

I've done a bit of research and I've seen that i need whats called a 'low profile servo' as they fit in most 1/10 touring cars which is what i have. I also have a 12t brushed motor if that helps with the requirments of torque? The dimensions of my existing servo are....

Width of Servo = 18mm
Hieght of Servo = 35mm
Length of Servo = 40mm

Any help which servos i could get for my budget?

servo sizes. its a 1/10 scale it might be a low profile but not a mini servo. Bought 1 3 years ago still works like new but I run servo savers on all my servos.
Size: 40mmx20mmx25.5mm

Hey guys, thanks for the suggestions but I sort of need something that can fit in my car sideways like in the photos and also screw in at the bottom of the car, needs to be as similar to the dimensions of - Width of Servo = 18mm - Height of Servo = 35mm - Length of Servo = 40mm

I just need to know whether the servo arm will fit on the white cirle disc in the picture below or if it doesn't need the white disc anyway?
