I'm looking into buying a new servo for my hyper 7 pcr, i heard the factory steering servo is not good at alll...What would be a great servo for a good price....lookin to pay $40-70

for around $70 I would get the Futaba S9451. Granted it is $10 more than you want to spend but it is a great servo! I just ordered 2!

You can get it here

I hear alot of people talking about the JR Z650M. That will be my next on probably. It is .05 sec. faster than the one I have now, so it will take some getting use to.

$49.99 at Horizon

A lot of people use the Hitec 645MG for steering. $40 at ServoCity.com. If you are going to race you might want to consider something with a quicker response time.

Thanks alot guys, the Futaba S9451 would be the best bet, pay a little more, but will last the time the buggy lasts!...thanks

i use the jr 650 works like a dream. its quick and could prob turn the wheels on my 1:1 hahaha

Servo

The Hitec 645 is fine, you can get it at tower for 36.99. Make sure you use the screw that comes with the servo and not the screw that is in your exisiting servo, I had a problem doing that.

I just popped a JRZ650M in my Storm as an upgrade for the steering. I couldn't pass it up, the price was great, less than $40.
