New ride for 09

Well I couldn't stand it any more, and just had to get the new Losi. I know I'm weak.....

This thing is so effing sweet. There lots of little tweaks from the former model, assuring even longer running without replacing parts. And this sucka is light, 4230 grams excluding fuel. And once I get some 0 offsets for my Panther Gators, it should be 100 grams or so lighter.

So far only hop-ups are DE Racing skids front and rear, and the Losi quick change mount.

I wish I was better with the knife doing the body. I just don't have the hands of a surgeon, so the lines are a bit rough. The colours work though, and I'm well chuffed.

Offense taken....er I mean no offence taken. I like it though. :

The body shape is actually what swayed me to upgrade from my 1.0 Losi.

i had the same thought when i first saw it but it has grown on me and now i love the shape of iit lol..

just one question...why would you pay $700 for this when you could have got a team x-ray xt8(original..not 2009 spec) for $500..or you could have pre-ordered the 2009spec for $642...and with either of the x-ray's you would have gotten way better quality...one of my friends has a xt8 that is a year old driven every day and it still has less slop in the joints then the brand new losi 2.0 he just got 2 weeks ago...run every day

No offense but I just don't like the way Xrays are built. And the importer over here is a tool, so no business from me.
And besides with the pound being low I only payed 530$ for it. Xrays are more expensive than that over here(630$).

And dude I know you think Xrays are the ducks nuts, but sometimes you should keep you opinions to yourself. You just don't go into some ones thread and tell them they bought a POS, be it a noob or a more experienced user. That's just disrespectful IMO.
Unless they make a dozen threads with problems with their truck, then you can tell them.

You most likely mean well, but sometimes a little thought before committing to writing is in order.

The paint job looks great but the overall body shape is horrendous! It looks like a tug that would push a 747 onto a runway or something. God awful!
