new radio system

So fired up my new engine in my tmaxx and it went crazy and took off down the street. almost hit a few kids and then hit a tree. nothing broke due to extreme upgrading. i dont want it to happen again. I'm runnin a 3 channel from 1999 and its the traxxas TQ. I like the screen monitor idea. i also like the new traxxas TQi. is there any controller that is cheaper than that?

Flysky gt3b good low cost radio, wouldnt recommend for racing but a great bashing radio.

You're probably not going to find to much cheaper than a Traxxas TQi, but if it was me I'd probably go with a Futaba 3PL or even better a Futaba 4PL (which I have and LOVE!!!).

what about the DX3e, isnt that about the same as the tqi? About the same in cost..
