Ok, i am tire of draining my cheapo batteries on my receiver/transmitter. I am thinking of buying the hump pack for my savage but what about the transmitter? Is there something for that, also how much mah do you recommend? What does mah stands for? I know more then one Q..

maH = milliampere-hour

I just use AA rechargeables in my Transmitter. Some will take a Transmitter pack, but I would guess most stock radios will not.

Motogod, some Futaba & Spektrum Transmitters will take packs, not sure about others though.

As to batteries, use the highest MAh rated Rechargeable NiMh AA's u can get. I run Duracel 2650MAh NiMh AA's. They last a fair old while. Perhaps 12 - 14 hours between charges under constant use in my transmitter, but thats a guess as i have not "Timed" it !!! lol

I use either my Energizer 2450mah or the new Tenergy 2650 mah AAs and get about the same urn times. They run a VERY long time. I use the same in my cars until I get RX packs for them....and that is mostly to get 6V out of them instead of 4.8V.
