Just picked this thing up think he said it was a 30 cc engine. He said it was heavy on the mods It runs and sounds nasty an opinions on this boat? Picked it up for something to do mostly not really into boats too much. Needs a serious cleaning. But everything works well

She's 4 foot. Supposed to be around 7 hp. dyno Liquid cooled pretty good size boat. Any Idea what it is worth all cleaned up and painted?

I have no idea what it's worth, used. Boats, when not maintained properly need a LOT of work. Look around on Ebay and see what comes close.
Doubtful on the 7 HP. More like 3 1/5, maybe 4.

He says he has the dyno results as well as 2 other boats and a room full of engines and parts to these boats. going in the morning to pick up the rest

Unless he's had some major mods done to the engine, a 30cc usually comes in just under 4HP. 3.9, typically.
How did you come across all this?
Post pics when you pick up the rest.

A guy I work with had it all And yes it has had a bunch of internal work. I ran it for a long time today and this thing barks and has tons of power. However I'm not gonna be able to get all the rest till tues. maybee. The electronics box in this boat was pretty ratty as well. Took the time to make a new one today that fits perfectly. Just need to coat it and finish the 1/4in. plexi top.

I have a homelight 30cc ported and polished running about 4hp. 7.5 is a bunch of bs, If it were ported to that much of a degree it would spin the prop with a high rpm, but no torque. What prop are you running?

Thats why I'm here guys. Don't know about these things much at all. Just going on what I'm told. It looks like it is brass. 2 blades

I wouldn't say burst my bubble.. If its not any fun it will be for sale. She cleaned up really nice. And is in for a nice paint job this week. Hopefully if i don't keep it It will pull me some decent cash.lol

The prop is made out of beryllium. I was wondering what kind of pitch and what size the prop it is. On the back of it by the mounting nut it should say what prop it is, atleast for Octura and Prather props. Make sure you balance the prop so you don't go through strut bearings crazy fast.

Got the inside of the hull painted today now The outside work begins sanding and sanding and more sanding. had to sand it all the way on the bottom came out pretty smooth. bottom is primed so i can block sand to find any flaws. Also there are no numbers ar markings at all on the prop
