Hello. Is it normal when you have a new engine that the starter will have problems spinning the flywheel? I hear i might have to spinne the engine up to speed with the starter and then tighten the plug.
When i spinn the flywheel with my hands the piston moves smoothly, but at some point (i belive its the bottom dead-point of the piston) the flywheel gets realy hard to spinn. it sounds like the pison is grinding the walls of the cylinder. i guess the cyliners are like a up side down cone with the narrow part at the bottom.
Anyway. i had to fit the rubber wheel from a starter on a el screwdriver and use that as the starter. But its still so hard getting it to spinn that am burring thought the rubber wheel after a short time.
So i wonder if the engine should be like this when they are new?
Thx.
