New O.S. .18

Just got my .18 motor for my Nitro Sport today. I ran about 6-7 tanks of fuel through it to break it in and it ran sluggish at first but after tuning it flies! I was very satisfied. Well I had a runnaway with it. It seems that I have full power until motor starts. While running servo's are sluggish then just die like there is a short. I traced wires and don't see anything. ANY IDEAS? PLEASE HELP

Are your batteries good? Make sure they are snapped in tight. Also make sure the connection is tight in the receiver. I had that problem with my sport, I put a new battery tray/switch/cable in it, no more problem. Only $5 at my LHS.

If your radio is an AM radio, make sure the antenna wire is not touching the main chassis. Also make sure the antenna wire itself is not broken. Also make sure your crystal is properly seated in the receiver. Take the receiver itself out and pad it with a little bit of foam rubber.

Thanks for your help guys. Got motor tuned properly and is running great. WOW!!! What a difference from the pro .15
