New motor.. seem to be having throttle issues

So i recently replaced my 550 brushed motor. I did a water break in. Once installed and on a full charge I find that all my power is in reverse and very sluggish going forward. Noticed the wiring on the motor was opposite of the one it came with. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

So the throttle on trans for reverse on and off? Then just switch the plugs? or the wires connected right on the motor?

I don't know what your receiver is set on right now. But change it from that setting. If it's reverse change it to regular if it's regular change it to reverse. Then change the motor wires. It's real simple unplug both of them and plug them in the other way

Switched the wires and it worked fine. For whatever reason i didnt have to switch the trans.
