hello all i am looking to get a new roar legal .21 for my jammin x1 rtr buggy, what motors do you suggest? and as most of us i am on a budget, it is under $200.00. if you could help me make up my decision i would be very grateful.

cheers

Although the V-Spec is a very nice engine i wouldnt trust it to last a long time. For around $200 you can get an RB Concepts S5

Although it is $224 if you break it in right and run it at about 220-250 it can last over 8 gallons. Mine lasted 11 gallons with a new connecting rod at 6 gallons. (just to be sure the old one could have lasted longer)

The S5 is like a Novarossi p5 it has tons and tons of torque with a lot of high end speed but not as much high end speed as a 8 port engine.

Have anymore question feel free to PM me.

You can also look at the Collari/Werks B3's. I have the Collari and when I mated it up to a 086 the top end came ALIVE!! I figured it was a typical 3 port that had little on the top end, but with that pipe it MOSTLY kept the bottom end but improved the mid and top. I have this in a Jammin FTE.
