Hey guys I am new to the losi and truggy scene as I have spent most of my time with the revo trucks.
So I found a good deal on a 8T RTR at a Local Hobby shop and went ahead and picked it up .

So tell me what I need now , I see there are problems with the TB servo , so do I need A kings Headz Tray stiffner?

What are good Servo's less than a 100 a piece?

Where do you find the kingz heads servo tray stiffner?

What else do I need to make it a reliable truggy ?

Thanks for the help in advance

if u check out my threads about my 8ight-t some guys posted some stuff to upgrade to

i didnt nuhting to mine and it holds up while

I don't know the rig, but here's the king headz stuff at Amain:

If it's anything at all like the muggy... then yes. Something is definitely needed to keep the chassis from looking like a banana after a few hard jumps. I do know a bit about the muggy. A friend has one. Bought the hard anno'd chassis and it still looked like a banana after a few hard landings. Granted, he's getting 6+ feet of air under it... but for a $100 chassis, I'd have thought it would have held up a bit better.

The 8-T is nothing like the muggy. You do need the radio tray stiffener but chassi flex is not a problem.
I had a Muggy, impossible to keep a clutch or clutchbell over a gallon in it. They need to stiffen the chassis and regear it.

You do NOT need the radio tray stiffener. Before I bought my 8T, I talked with Adam Drake and Mike Truhe and neither one of them changed anything on theirs except the quick change motor mount. They still run the composite chassis braces as well.

Take the radio tray off and make sure you have (2) two rubber gromets under the battery box area between the chassis and the bottom of the battery box. That alone will save your servos.

The only change I've made to mine is the aluminum rear bearing inserts for the diff case. I have had it now for 6 months and have not had one issue with it. Best thing to do is go through the diffs and change from grease to silicone oil. Check your shocks and adjust them as well.

Hope this helps. Now go burn some nitro.

Dude, drive the truck. You don't need to go crazy out of the gate and start modifying things. Drive the truck for a while, it will tell you what it needs.

I've got almost 2 gallons on my clutch and the clutch bell the only thing i change is the clutch bearings but i got it pretty modded so it wont eat up shoes or bells and I'm also pretty quick with it around the track
